The Journey Home

The digital side of my practice became clearer in The Journey Home, created in 2024. The work follows a figure through imagined cosmic spaces and carries the pull toward something familiar and uncertain at the same time. It helped me understand that digital media could hold the same emotional weight as sculpture — not only as preparation or visualisation, but as a finished part of the practice.

The bronze shuttle object contains the SSD with the animation, giving the digital film a physical carrier — a connection between moving image, object, memory, and the search for home.
